【Osaka Study Group Meeting Dec. 5】
Thank you very much for attending Osaka Study Group Meeting on December 5th.
The meeting started with a warm up song, “What do you have to do?” to the melody of ‘Jingle Bells.’ The gesture for ‘gingerbread man’ was a unique one, but we were able to sing easily as we did the gestures.
Then we demonstrated how to teach “What do you have to do? – I have to wrap the presents.” with the MAT METHOD.
The participants had the chance to experience being a teacher or a student and practiced the steps of the MAT METHOD.
We introduced 6 Activities. The activities we introduced will give the students the chance to say the language many, many times in a very fun way.
Activity: Tic-Tac-Toe game
We all said what we have to do many many times!!
Activity: Christmas tree Game
Carry 8 small triangles from the ‘forest’ in the middle and make one big Christmas Tree.
