The topic for the September Osaka Study Group Meeting is “What can you do? I can play the piano.”
This is a very simple and basic Question and Answer sequence, so it is a good opportunity to see how the basic steps of the MAT METHOD are organized to help your students learn English in a fun way. If you use the MAT METHOD effectively, your students will experience the joy of communication. We believe that these small experiences will motivate your students to learn more.
Also we would like to share how this basic sentence pattern can be expanded so that your students will gradually build up the ability to ask about what they really want to know and say it just like they would if they were speaking Japanese.
