Our wish is to see all your students studying English with Joy!! The Model Action Talk (MAT) METHOD was created by Ms. Ritsuko Nakata for students to study English in a fun and joyful way. Would you like your students to learn and have fun in your classroom?
We, IIEEC Osaka organize many Study Group Meetings, Workshops and Seminars so that teachers can do their lessons using the Model Action Talk METHOD.
〇 At our Study Group Meetings, we introduce the unique skills we use when we teach a certain sentence pattern with the MAT METHOD. We also introduce some fun Activities which will help students retain what they have learned. There are also lecture times where we share some important ideas of this method. We plan to have these meetings eight times a year, so it will be a good opportunity to know and review the method.
Since this April, we have discussed the following sentence patterns.

The handout, picture cards, word cards and worksheets will be sent to you by email in advance. The participants are asked to print them out in advance so that we will have the same materials at hand to use on the online webinar.
★ We also provide Activity Workshops four times a year. In February, we have Spring Activity Workshop. Summer Activity Workshop in June, Halloween Activity Workshop in September, and Christmas Activity Workshop in December. Everybody loves these workshops. It is amazing to see how activities can be done online. Even adults can enjoy being involved. I strongly recommend you to join these workshops.
◎ 1-Day MAT Basic Seminars is a 4-module workshop which is designed for teachers who want to do their lessons using the Model Action Talk METHOD. Taking all 4 workshops will help you understand better why the Model Action Talk METHOD is so effective. The workshops start at 9:50 a.m. and end at 3:30 p.m. with a 40-minute lunch break. Since this is the “basic” seminar, we focus on the MAT Practice System which is full of useful skills.

As you can see, we provide a lot of practice time. Also, we give you assignments to write down the script of how you will introduce the sentence pattern. After doing these, we are sure that you will get a good hold of the skills and will be able to do your lessons from the next day using the Model Action Talk METHOD!!
The Model Action Talk METHOD is designed so that the students will THINK by themselves and give their own opinions. There are many special skills that make it possible.

The fee must be received before each event.
【Cancellation and refund】
Cancellation is accepted by the previous Wednesday of each event.
We will deduct the handling fee (500 yen) from the total amount and refund the rest.
We cannot refund you if you cancel after the previous Thursday of each event.
